1933 Goudey #144 Babe Ruth Signed, Inscribed Card - PSA FR 1.5 (MK), PSA/DNA NM 7

Graded FR 1.5 (MK) by PSA, with Autograph Certified and graded NM 7 by PSA/DNA (69251057). Hall of Famer. What a grand showpiece! This card conveys one of the most recognizable images of Babe Ruth ever produced, and the rendering provided on this specimen is of extraordinary depth and resolution. Intensely vivid color in the player likeness, complemented by precise registration, delivers tremendous eye appeal. As an additional and undeniably very rare attribute, this career-contemporary piece bears its subject's bold black signature scripting in the ideal location; to his autograph, conveying a heartwarming degree of attention, Ruth has added the penned salutation, "Sincerely." The singular, forcefully projecting autograph, "Babe Ruth," constitutes the ultimate enhancement to this fabulous memento. The card's appearance carries evidence of past handling (to the level of "respectful circulation": honest corner wear, transparent reverse-side discoloration, and an inked "x" on the back, for which the piece's PSA grade has been duly qualified) but concentration on those details belies the card's compelling aesthetic character. Ruth's complexion is pleasingly textured, his Yankee pinstripes are distinct and solid, and the portrayal's gentle green background hue lends a highly appealing general air to the delightfully crisp illustration. And, of course, there's the wonderful autograph. From any perspective, this is a truly captivating, hand-signed Babe Ruth relic.
